Bruterdam is a safe space for exploring gender, identity and fashion in a digital realm. The models are highly inspired by London’s finest pedestrians where facial asymmetry holds an alluring role. The garments are scarce and often fetish inspired. The vibes are other-worldly yet neighbourly leaving the viewer in awe.
Its creator Alexandru Ilie is a multidisciplinary Romanian artist whose background includes 3D, fine art, sculpting, photography and graphic design. His journey of digital art began during the first COVID-19 lockdown in London and manifested as 3D modelling. Bruterdam emerged as an alternative world where Alexandru could showcase his vision and connect with people globally, while advocating for the queer community. Collaborators include brands like Fakoshima, Babes and Gegen Berlin - Bruterdam has been featured in Pornceptual magazine.
As AI art is making its way into the mainstream - the future of digital art is uncertain although intriguing. Bruterdam’s next steps will touch onto deeper areas of fashion, 3D motion and the production based use of AI.
